The Village provides curbside pickup of refuse and recyclables (weekly) for residents purchasing Village of Evans Mills Orange Refuse Stickers or opting into the pre-paid option. Details below

Refuse

The Village DPW collects garbage every Thursday (except holidays). Bags must be:

• At the curb by 8:00 AM

• Transparent and under 50 lbs

• Tagged with an Orange Refuse Sticker (unless enrolled in a pre-paid plan)

Sticker Cost: $3.00 each, available at the Village Office or online.
Online orders include a 3% service fee. Stickers will be mailed to the address provided. The Village is not responsible for lost mail.

The Village now offers TWO options for residents who choose to participate in the village trash pickup services:

1. Pay-Per-Bag (Sticker Program)

• Purchase stickers as needed ($3.00 each)

• Each garbage bag requires one sticker

2. Pre-Paid Monthly Plans

• Sign up for a monthly billing option—no stickers needed (unless you exceed your plan limit). Available for residential properties only. Service begins once your signed form is returned.

Available Plans:

• $45/month → Up to 3 bags per week (30-gallon bags)

• $55/month → Up to 5 bags per week (30-gallon bags)

• $65/month → Up to 8 bags per week (30-gallon bags)

 

Convenient Payments: Residents enrolled in the pre-pay program can now set up recurring payments through MuniciPAY. Customize your schedule and never miss a payment!

Recycling 

Recycling is free for all Village residents. DPW collects every Wednesday (except holidays).

 

Please ensure:

• Recycling is at the curb by 8:00 AM

• All materials are properly separated

• Cardboard is broken down​​
