OPEN CALL FOR PROJECTS!

All projects submitted for the NY Forward and DRI grant funding must be located within the Village of Evans Mills to qualify.

 

Eligible applicants include businesses, property owners, non-profits, cultural organizations, and developers.

 

Potential projects can include new construction, renovations, façade improvements, and creating spaces for retail, office, recreation, or cultural use.

Instructions for Submitting Projects
Please use this form to submit your project ideas for consideration. Each project must be submitted on its own form so that we can properly review the details and track progress.

👉 If you have multiple projects for the same property, please complete one form per project.

This ensures each project is evaluated individually and helps us better understand its potential benefits, timeline, and funding needs.

​The Village of Evans Mills is excited to announce that we will be applying for the next round of the New York Forward program. This initiative provides valuable funding opportunities to support community revitalization, economic development, and long-term growth in small towns and villages across New York State.

To ensure the strongest possible application, the Village has partnered with G&G Municipal Solutions, a professional grant writing and consulting firm with extensive experience in municipal projects. Their expertise will help us prepare a comprehensive proposal that reflects the needs and vision of our community.

 

What the Grant Can Do for the Village

If awarded, New York Forward funding could help our Village:

  • Revitalize Main Street – Support building renovations, storefront improvements, and streetscape enhancements that preserve our historic character while creating a welcoming downtown.

  • Support Small Businesses – Provide resources for new and existing businesses to grow, expand services, and attract more visitors.

  • Improve Public Spaces – Upgrade parks, sidewalks, lighting, landscaping, and gathering areas to make our community more accessible and enjoyable for residents and visitors.

  • Enhance Infrastructure – Invest in essential upgrades such as water, sewer, broadband, and transportation improvements that support long-term growth.

  • Promote Tourism & Community Events – Develop amenities and programs that highlight Evans Mills’ unique identity and bring people together.

  • Encourage Housing Opportunities – Explore ways to create or improve housing options to support families, workers, and seniors.
