"A Village with Heart, History and Hope"

The Village of Evans Mills is proud to announce that we have officially submitted our application for the New York Forward and Downtown Revitalization Grant on November 7, 2025. This grant program, administered by New York State, is designed to support small communities like ours in enhancing downtown areas, stimulating economic growth, improving infrastructure, and fostering community engagement.

The application highlights several transformational projects aimed at improving the quality of life for residents and visitors alike. Proposed initiatives include streetscape improvements, façade enhancements, public space upgrades, and investments in community facilities, all focused on making Evans Mills a more vibrant, walkable, and welcoming place.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Jay Grasso and the G&G Municipal Solutions team for their dedication and collaboration in preparing the submission. Their assistance in collecting project proposals, photos, and supporting documentation was instrumental in showcasing the village’s vision for future growth.

New York State is expected to announce the list of award recipients in Spring 2026. The Village is hopeful that this opportunity will bring new resources and momentum to advance our revitalization goals and strengthen the heart of our community.
