What does this Village Board Do?
The Village Board governs the Village of Evans Mills, ensuring the community runs smoothly and efficiently. Comprised of the Mayor and Trustees, the Board is responsible for setting local laws and policies, managing the village budget, overseeing public services, and making key appointments. They also guide planning and development, approve contracts, and represent the interests of residents at the local, county, and state level. All decisions are made during public meetings to ensure transparency and accountability.
We invite all members of the community to attend our meetings and participate in the decision-making process.
Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM at the Village Municipal Offices, 8706 Noble Street, Evans Mills, NY 13637.
